Sherrington house , was full of festivities this year , we decorated the whole home, we went with a traditional Christmas theme this year, which our residents loved and this gave them all so much to reminisce about. We even went back to the 80s and had ceiling foil decorations. Yet another way to bring back memories and make our Christmas extra special.

We went out Christmas shopping , as you will see below they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The Christmas lights were beautiful we didn’t want to leave. In December we also held our annual Christmas fete , we had lots of stalls including tombola , raffle , we sold some stunning Christmas table decorations that one of our staff had made. We made over £400 this will enable us to do lots of exciting things in the new year .

We held a Christmas disco, we danced , we sang and we ate a lot of food . The food was incredible that our kitchen staff put together for us. We even had snow , who doesn’t love snow in December. On Christmas Eve we were very fortunate to have one of our residents families come in , they played instruments as we all sang Christmas carols.

On Christmas Day we had a visit from Santa , all of our residents received lots of lovely gifts . Our Christmas dinner was incredible we had many family members join us on Christmas day and they all said how lovely there Day was .
